Hillsboro Farmers’ Markets sprout up for 2025 season

Spring is in full swing, and in Hillsboro, that means it’s time to take to the streets and shop local.

The Hillsboro Farmers’ Markets return for the 2025 season this weekend, beginning with the Downtown Hillsboro Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, followed by the Orenco Station Market on Sunday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Running through October, the markets offer a weekly chance to stock up on local produce, connect with neighbors, and support small farms and makers.

The Downtown Hillsboro Market has been a fixture since 1982, turning Main Street into a bustling stretch of farm-fresh produce, handmade goods, live music and activities for all ages.

Launched in 2003, the Orenco Station Market has grown into a go-to spot for Sunday shoppers looking for variety and a relaxing day in the pedestrian-friendly neighborhood.

And starting June 4, the evening market at Reed’s Crossing is back. It runs from 4:30 to 8 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, adding a midweek option to get out and explore South Hillsboro.
