Lake Oswego and Wilsonville stores are not yet affected by Rite Aid’s financial challenges.

The company, which announced that it had filed for bankruptcy Monday, said it planned to close certain underperforming stores as it grapples with the bankruptcy. It also plans to restructure and sell part of its business.

“The court-supervised process provides Rite Aid with legal tools to accelerate our footprint optimization in an efficient and orderly manner. We look forward to working closely with our landlords to determine the best path forward for each of our stores,” new Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey S. Stein said in a press release.

Lake Oswego has two Rite Aid stores — one at 16390 Boones Ferry Road and another at 90 B Avenue. Wilsonville has a location at 8235 SW Wilsonville Road. All three are listed on the company’s website (which the company said is updated) as open.
