This 16-story, 299-room hotel includes a ground-level, full-service restaurant, rooftop bar and market cafe on a 20,400 square foot, half-block site. The west half of the block is occupied by the Essex House apartments.
Approved in early 2016 and still under construction, the upscale 295-room Porter Hotel is already for sale and expected to fetch bids worth $147.5 million. Eastdil Secured has the listing. Already branded as part of Hilton Worldwide’s Curio line, it is unencumbered by a management contract.

District: The Pearl
Designer: Ankrom Moisan Architects
Landscaper: Lango Hansen Landscape Architects
Developer: Holland Partner Group
Owners: 14th & Glisan Investors, LP
Designs show a 16-story mixed-use building with 230 residential units for a half-block site along Glisan Street near the I-405 entrance. It’s across from the Touche restaurant, and includes plans for the current surface lot in that block, which will be a parklet.
The lower floors have around 20 units, and typical one-beds are around 700 square feet, studios around 500, and two-beds around 950-1,000. About 40 to 50 percent of the units are one-beds, with an even mix of studios and two-beds.
The plans include four below-grade levels of parking for 206 vehicles, about an 0.85 ratio, and more than 6,000 square feet of ground-level retail.
