The final day of service at McCormick & Schmick’s restaurant at Bridgeport Village, 17015 S.W. 72nd Ave. in Tigard, will be Saturday, March 22, a manager confirmed. A corporate spokesperson has said the closure was due to the expiration of its lease.
The closure will mark an end to the fabled restaurants, which first opened their doors in 1974.
“We are grateful for our dedicated employees and the support of the Tigard community over the years,” Shah Ghani, chief operating officer for Landry’s Development Inc., owners of the restaurants, said in a March 19 statement. “While this location is closing, we are working on relocating our team members to nearby properties and look forward to welcoming our guests at Jake’s Grill, Jake’s Crawfish, and other McCormick & Schmick’s locations nationwide.”

The Beaverton McCormick & Schmick’s on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway closed its doors in March 2019, citing a lease expiration and decision not to renew, according to news reports at the time.
Then on March 31, 2024, the McCormick & Schmick’s RiverPlace, which overlooked the Willamette River, served its final diners, also following an expiration of the restaurant’s lease there.
That said, it looks like a last hurrah is planned for the final week the restaurant is open in recognition of St. Patrick’s Day.
