A local oral surgeon clinic is offering a chance to find confidence in your smile through a life-changing procedure.

Beacon Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons is accepting applications for the sixth-annual Second Chance program, which will select one recipient who lives in or near Gresham, The Dalles, Milwaukie or Camas for a complete smile makeover free of charge (valued near $50,000).

The end result will be a fully-functioning set of natural-looking teeth.

The ideal candidate will have multiple missing or failing teeth, and cannot afford restorative treatment. Broken, decayed, and missing teeth can affect a person’s overall health, potentially leading to ailments like cardiovascular disease and can also negatively affect mental health.

After the submission period, which is now open, a person will be selected to receive a free full-arch restoration procedure. That secures a full prosthesis in the mouth using as few as four dental implants. That will permanently hold the new teeth in place while preventing bone loss.
