Operating in the Portland area for 40 years, the family owned and operated Apollo Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning has always strived to put their customers and community first.

In a thank you from those they serve, Apollo has been awarded the Best Heating/Cooling title in The Outlook’s and Sandy Post’s 2024 Reader’s Choice Awards.

Isabeau Kennedy, the marketing manager with Apollo, extends an overwhelming “thank you” to all who voted.

“It is so wonderful to see the community rise up and vote for us,” Kennedy said. “It gives us that little bit of encouragement that we’re going in the right direction with our company.”

Since their beginning, Apollo has always strived to put their customers first, and to consider the impact they have on the community and the environment.

With their community membership program, clients can pay a monthly or yearly fee to get annual services, including two HVAC maintenance appointments a year, plumbing maintenance, an inspection, as well as a discount on all services.

“Depending on how you decide to do it, you can potentially save hundreds upon thousands of dollars,” Kennedy said.

Apollo was also the first company to bring cured-in-place pipes to Portland, which is a trenchless sewer repair method that is more environmentally friendly and cost effective.

“We always try and stay conscious regarding the environment in our industry,” Kennedy said. “We’ve had overwhelming appreciation. It can be a lower cost, depending on the length of the repair, but also, they don’t have to worry about digging up their yard or ripping up their basement floor.”

Whether it’s with their pipe repair services or membership program, Apollo always makes it a priority to offer best-in-class customer service.

“Our company goal is to provide the service the customer is looking for, so if they’re looking to get their furnace fixed and not replaced, we are going to do our darnedest to fix that furnace,” Kennedy said. “We are always willing to work with the customer when it comes to prices and try to get it to where the customer is comfortable.
