Brow Babe Studio created a series of 16 different designs for the collaboration, including characters from popular children’s books, Frog and Toad and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Sho Roberts, owner of Maggie Mae’s Kids Bookshop, says the idea was born during a Historic Downtown Gresham meeting.
“I was looking to do something that was maybe unexpected from a bookshop but that our customers would love,” said Roberts. “We reached out to see if [Brow Babe Studio] would be interested in collaborating and doing a flash sheet for the love of books.”

The event coincided with Bookstore Romance Day on August 19th. The day is designated to give independent bookstores an opportunity to celebrate Romance fiction books, readers, and writers.
Even the staff at Maggie Mae’s couldn’t resist.
“We are so excited about the collaboration, that three Maggie Mae’s staff have booked their sessions,” Roberts said.
The local shop was founded as a mobile bookshop in Portland that aimed to make children’s books accessible and affordable.
Now, three years later the shop is a popular stop for readers in Historic Downtown Gresham.
