Plans for a four-story apartment building with 76 units have reached full heights in Sellwood, from the same developer who also built nearby apartments Moreland Crossing. The lot used to be home to a single-story 1912 house, two sheds and a 2,700-square-foot, 1948 commercial building.

Plans to improve Willamette Park, in place since 2012, are now working on the water pump station. Plans also include upgrades to the Willamette Greenway Trail for commuters and recreation, stormwater treatment facilities, habitat improvements and artwork.

The new Hannah Mason pump station, funded by the Water Bureau and construction fund revenues like bond sales and water sales, will house five pumps, public restrooms and park equipment storage. It replaces the Fulton Pump Station, which was built in 1912 and despite expansions couldn’t meet Portland’s future water needs.

The total project cost is $15,090,000, and completion is slated for Autumn 2016.
